Reporting Officer's Narrative

REPORTING OFFICER'S NARRATIVE (Brief narrative of the facts surrounding the offense and the arrest.)

At 8:15 p.m., R/Is arrived at 594 Hathorn Road to arrest Benito Flores for the homicide of Philip Fontaine on July 10.

R/Is knocked on the door of 594 Hathorn Road, the residence of Benito Flores and Raquel Santos. R/Is announced themselves and were admitted to the residence by occupant Benito Flores, who was apprehended without incident and taken into custody.

After being advised of his rights, Flores was removed from the residence for transport to YCSD headquarters.

 

DEFENDANT'S VERSION/REMARKS (What did the defendant say about the offense or his/her whereabouts at the time of offense?)

During transport to YCSD headquarters, Benito Flores denied any involvement in the homicide of Philip Fontaine and claimed he was being framed.

Flores made no further remarks during transport.
