What happened?

Investigation Day 1

Yoknapatawpha Emergency Services received a 911 call reporting a body found in the woods south of town.

The victim was identified as the 19-year-old assistant manager of a local pizza restaurant.

After examining the crime scene, the detectives spoke to the man who found the body.

Later, after the victim's mother had officially identified her body, Detectives Armstrong and Murphy sat down with Ms. Ledbetter to find out her daughter's recent activities.

That afternoon, the local crime blog told the community about the shocking death.

Investigation Day 2

First thing the next morning, CSU sent over a preliminary inventory of the evidence collected at the scene.

Then the detectives met with the man who was supposed to interview Jasmine for a job the night before her body was found.

Later, they talked to Jasmine's boyfriend about their relationship and where he was when she was killed.

A short time later, they sat down with Jasmine's best friend to find out more about Jasmine's relationships and anyone she was having trouble with.

That afternoon, Jasmine's father came in to talk to Detectives Armstrong and Murphy about his daughter.

Then the detectives talked to Jasmine's stepmother about the family's relationships.

Afterward, Detectives Armstrong and Murphy reviewed the information investigators collected when they talked to Jasmine's neighbors and co-workers.

Investigation Day 3

The next morning, the detectives met with Chris Wooten's ex-girlfriend to find out about his behavior in their relationship.

Then they followed up with one of Jasmine's co-workers on information that came up in the canvass.

Later, Detectives Armstrong and Murphy spoke with Jasmine's boss about some new information.

When they got out of that interview, the detectives found that Jasmine's cell phone call information had arrived.

After looking that over, they reviewed the interviews conducted to try to verify Mark Eldridge's story about finding the body.

Investigation Day 4

Detectives Armstrong and Murphy asked Kevin to come in again the next morning to talk about his relationship with Jasmine.

Then, the detectives talked to Jasmine's potential employer a second time to get more details about his interactions with her.

After lunchtime, they met again with Jasmine's mother to clarify a few details.

Later, Detectives Armstrong and Murphy spoke to Chris again to follow up on some new information.

Once the detectives had spoken to the man Chris said could verify his story, they reviewed locations of interest in the investigation in relation to one another.

Investigation Day 5

The next morning, the detectives received information about the card found at the scene under Jasmine's body.

A little while later, the detectives asked Ashley to come in again and address some questions that have come up since their first conversation.

That afternoon, the crime lab provided their early findings on evidence from the scene, and later, the coroner's office sent over their preliminary autopsy report.

Investigation Day 6

Detectives Armstrong and Murphy asked Megan to come in again to talk about some new information they've learned since they last spoke to her.

Then the detectives went to see Jasmine's mother for another conversation.

When they finished talking, the detectives took a look around.

Investigation Day 7

Bright and early the next morning, the detectives executed a search warrant at Ashley's residence.

It didn't take long for the Crime Beat to find out about the searches and spread the word.

Meanwhile, investigators were taking another look at the alibis for the persons of interest.

Investigation Day 8

When the crime lab's preliminary report on the search evidence came in, Detectives Armstrong and Murphy took the next logical step.

A few hours later, the detectives spoke with the person in custody.

Investigation Day 9

The next morning, the Oxford Weekly Planet told the community about the stunning arrest.
