Doesnt look like a suicide, the way the knife is placed by the body. Looks like someone murdered her and dropped the knife. All we need is to find someone with a motive to kill Caroline.

Definitely isnt a suicide considering the entry of the butcher knife, seems like the murderer stabbed her and left the knife in, in a sense of panic. But before she got stabbed she put up a fight, which you can see from the mess of lights and ornaments. She was eventually overpowered by the murderer and got stabbed. The murderer leaves the knife in the entry wound, which seems to be near the heart, she pulls it out from pain and sees the blood rushing out. She tries to put pressure on the wound as you can see from the amount of blood on her hand but she has already bled out too much and eventually dies.

I wouldn't be so sure. If she were the one to remove the knife from her chest, then it would be unreasonable for her to place the knife so close to her torso. Lay down on the floor and try it, you will see it is quite uncomfortable; It only wastes time and energy. Finally, with that being said, would it not make more sense for Caroline to just drop the knife after removing it? Yet, the way the knife is positioned makes it seem as though it were intricately lain there.

I agree with you KellyK. She also had a strand of lights and tinsel on her body with the end in her hand. It's possible that she grabbed that as she fell. I'd be surprised if it were someone that wasn't at that Christmas party.

it was a fast and quickly done process but what we need is to see if she was drunk or had done anything and how long the body has been dead this can give us a time of death and who called and the time everyone left she doesn't look like she hasn't been dead for a long time so how did the killer get in
