Vanessa is suspicious, why would she not want to talk? Maybe because of shock, but wouldn't you want to get justice for the victim? There was a third person there, no forced entry, meaning the suspect was let in willingly.

20 min. seems like a long time, until your frantic. How quick 20 min. goes by when you are frantically trying to get to work or to the hospital or what ever. In that state you take extra steps, takes longer to think of what you need to do next, you have too much racing through your head. she comes in, sets everything down, is kinda going through the house, too quiet, what's wrong, then goes down stairs, then sees something she can't believe. How long would it take?

With out the cell phone there is no text messages. they are good at where someone was for the most part, and when. They can also be invisible to some towers. They are not as reliable even yet as some believe, also depending on the company, even...

I believe that most cases can be solved by cell phone records. In terms of alibi's, dates, times, places... Plus, text messages are a wealth of info as well as placed and or received calls.

So we know there was a third party involved. What was the relationship of the two deceased? a list of the people that would want either of the two dead. Would be where I would start. Was the other victim a client of the 1st victim Mr. Pruitt?...

Was the other victim a client of the 1st victim Mr. Pruitt? or someone involved in a case either current or past? Where any cell phones recovered from the scene? Cell phones say a lot! If they were not recovered. Track the current locations of them. and obtain the records for them on the night of the incident and just prior to the incident. If there is any activity after the incident. Like who goes ANYWHERE without their cell phone on their person or close by in a vehicle?

I haven't yet looked into the details of this case but my first impressions are that they shot each other.

Does not happen! There would of had to of been one victim with a gun shot wound to the head with the weapon at their own feet or close proximity. Plus, there are more clues like gpr (gun powder residue) on the victims hand.
