YOKNAPATAWPHA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

Investigating Officer(s): Det. T. Armstrong, Det. S. Murphy
Incident No.: 003331-01G-2018
Case Description: Devlin Beauchamp death investigation

YCSD investigators compiled voice call records for Devlin Beauchamp's cell phone, identified as 662-816-XXXX, for the period of June 29 through July 1, 2018.

  • All calls that remained on the line until the voicemail picked up are recorded as completed calls.
  • The Account Names listed indicate only the billing name associated with the telephone number, not the identity of the person who placed the call.
  • Those calls that investigators have determined to be from telemarketers have been flagged with a "T."

So Dixon used Beauchamp’s cell phone that was in the study, not the phone in the bedroom. He didn’t mention that he went anywhere other than bedroom and bathroom. There were phones in the kitchen, master bedroom, and study, but he used the cell phone that was charging. Why would he come into this room to use the phone and why the cell phone instead of cordless phone? Was he going through the room and the phone looking for something?

Thought just occurred to mewhen I re-read Kat Dixon’s interview. Why didn’t Carl Dixon use his own cell phone to call 911?

Well thing strange to me is Carl called Devlin on the 30th from his phone at 21.52 and according to employees Devlin left around 22.00 (10pm). Were they still arguing then? and then another call was made to Devlin at 22.08 from Home Plate phone seems odd.

Of course around ten could be 10 minutes either side of 10pm. Was Dixon so concerned about Devlin minutes after the argument, or want to bawl Devlin out some more? Or is it a smoke screen?
