Reporting Officer's Narrative

REPORTING OFFICER'S NARRATIVE (Brief narrative of the facts surrounding the offense and the arrest.)

At 5:14 p.m., R/Is arrived at 345 County Road 101 to arrest Kenneth Lemmons in connection with the death of Dr. Veronica Smith on January 6, 2023.

R/Is entered the public waiting room of Billee's Auto Service, announced themselves to shop owner Billy Lee, and informed him of their intention to take Kenneth Lemmons into custody. Billy Lee led R/Is into the shop, where they took Kenneth Lemmons into custody without incident.

After being advised of his rights, Kenneth Lemmons was removed from the shop for transport to YCSD headquarters.
