I received the attached search warrant July 27, 2022 and have executed it as follows:

On July 27, 2022 at 9:45 a.m., I searched the person or premises described in the warrant and left a copy of the warrant with James Lamoire.

 

INVENTORY OF PERSON OR PROPERTY TAKEN PURSUANT TO THE WARRANT

Collected from Stephen Lamoire's bedroom

  • 003516-16: One (1) leather jacket, black
  • 003516-17: One (1) plastic shopping bag printed with Kroger logo, containing the following items:
    • 003516-18 through 003516-19: Two (2) pairs men's blue denim jeans
    • 003516-20: One (1) pair men's Nike Blazer athletic shoes
    • 003516-21: One (1) pair men's shorts
    • 003516-22 through 003516-23: Two (2) pairs men's athletic socks, white
    • 003516-24: One (1) electric shaver
    • 003516-25: One (1) toothbrush
    • 003516-26: One (1) handwritten note signed "Alyx"

Case Number: 003516-22G-2022

To Detective Samantha Murphy and any Authorized Officer of Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi.

Affidavit(s) having been made before me by Detective Samantha Murphy

who has reason to believe that on the premises known as

675 Foster Lane which is a one-story, two-bedroom single family home with attached one-car garage, leased to James Lamoire and occupied by James Lamoire and Stephen Lamoire;

in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, there is now concealed a person or property, namely

items removed from the Byrns residence at 604 College Hill Road, including two pairs of men's jeans, one pair of Nike Blazer footwear, shorts, socks, an electric shaver, a toothbrush and a leather jacket; clothing with blood stains or blood spatter; shoes with blood stains or blood spatter; any other items pertaining to the deceased, Alyx Byrns;

and as I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that the person or property so described is now concealed on the person or premises above described and that grounds for application for issuance of the search warrant exist as stated in the supporting affidavit(s).

YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to search on or before August 5, 2022 (not to exceed 10 days) the person or property specified, serving this warrant and making the search in the daytime (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.). If the person or property be found there seize same, leaving a copy of this warrant and receipt for the person or property taken and prepare a written inventory of the person or property seized and promptly return this warrant to US Judge or Magistrate,
