INVENTORY IN THE PRESENCE OF Detectives Ted Armstrong and Samantha Murphy of the Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's Department and Lauren Brown, property co-owner.

 

I received the attached search warrant August 30, 2018, and have executed it as follows:

On August 31, 2018, at 2:30 p.m., I searched the person or premises described in the warrant and left a copy of the warrant with Lauren Brown, property co-owner.

 

INVENTORY OF PERSON OR PROPERTY TAKEN PURSUANT TO THE WARRANT

Cody Brown Bedroom

• 004343-39 and 004343-43: Five (5) blond hairs, 2 cm

Katherine Brown Bedroom

• 004343-44 and 004343-46: Three (3) blond hairs, 2 cm

Laundry Room

• 004343-47: One (1) Yoknapatawpha High School cheerleading uniform, size medium

Utility Room

• 004343-48 through 004343-52: Five (5) hardwood dowels, 3/8-inch x 36 inches

Garage

• 004343-53: One (1) twirling baton, 3/8-inch x 28 inches

Oxford, MS 38655

Case Number: 004343-25H-2018

To Detective Ted Armstrong and any Authorized Officer of Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi.

Affidavit(s) having been made before me by Detective Ted Armstrong

who has reason to believe that on the premises known as

202 Williams Avenue, Oxford, MS which is a green, one-story, single family home with separate two-car garage and curtilage, shown by public record as co-owned by Richard and Lauren Brown;

in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, there is now concealed a person or property, namely

Yoknapatawpha High School cheerleading uniform(s); any blunt instrument approximately 1 cm in diameter with rounded edges and a smooth face; hair samples from Leonberger dogs; blond or light-colored hairs approximately 2 cm in length consistent with Leonberger dog hair; scarlet shade lip color;

and as I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that the person or property so described is now concealed on the person or premises above described and that grounds for application for issuance of the search warrant exist as stated in the supporting affidavit(s).

YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to search on or before September 10, 2018 (not to exceed 10 days) the person or property specified, serving this warrant and making the search in the daytime (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.). If the person or property be found there seize same, leaving a copy of this warrant and receipt for the person or property taken and prepare a written inventory of the person or property seized and promptly return this warrant to US Judge or Magistrate,
