REPORTING OFFICER'S NARRATIVE(Brief narrative of the facts surrounding the offense and the arrest.)

At 7:30 a.m., Reporting Investigators (R/Is) Detectives T. Armstrong and S. Murphy arrived at the arrestee's residence. R/Is knocked on the door, and the arrestee answered. R/Is took the arrestee into custody. The arrestee was handcuffed and advised of her rights. The arrestee requested to bring her purse, and she accompanied the R/Is to their department vehicle.

Transportation to the Sheriff's Department proceeded without incident. At 7:53 a.m., R/Is turned the arrestee over to Sheriff's Department personnel for processing.

At all times while in custody, the arrestee appeared lucid and coherent. Although uncommunicative, the arrestee was cooperative and seemed to comprehend what was happening to her.

DEFENDANT'S VERSION/REMARKS(What did the defendant say about the offense or his/her whereabouts at the time of offense?)

The arrestee asked why she was being arrested and asked when she could call an attorney. Otherwise, the arrestee remained silent during transportation to the station and during processing. The arrestee refused to answer any questions until an attorney was present. However, she did cooperate physically and did not resist in any way.
