I agree yvonne had more to do with it than we expect. My theory is being the hotel manager she help max cover the up Jared's murder he would kill him and she will discover th.e body and get rid of all evidence which was found in the Boyds...

I think Yvonne and max plnned to murder Jared the night of the cocktail party. Max would kill Jared and Yvonne would help
cover it up.

depending on how you look at the case. you would think that. but someone had to find the body an it happen to be her. so your looking at is as she did it, because thats what is sticking out. but you would need more detail then this to even think...

Some things I noticed from here:
Yvonne is considerably shorter than Jared. The blunt force injury to the side of the head indicates a fight (as well as the multiple stabs in different places, specially the forearm, and the overturned trash can),...

Yvonne is considerably shorter than Jared. The blunt force injury to the side of the head indicates a fight (as well as the multiple stabs in different places, specially the forearm, and the overturned trash can), so I dthink the odds it was her ALONE are very low.
Also, the wound angles seem a bit odd, almost as if he maybe was caught by surprise and unsuccessfully attempted to defend himself.
