To Detective Samantha Murphy and any Authorized Officer of Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi.
Affidavit(s) having been made before me by Detective Samantha Murphy
who has reason to believe that on the premises known as
1710 Anderson Road, Oxford, MS, which is a one-bedroom apartment, shown by public record as leased to and occupied by James Barton; a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck, blue, (VIN XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) registered to James Barton;
in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, there is now concealed a person or property, namely
Articles of clothing, footwear, or other items with possible bloodstains; 42-gallon trash bags made of 3-mil heavy-duty black plastic measuring 32.75 inches x 45.125 inches; natural sisal twine; brown Kraft paper; white cotton/polyester bath towels measuring 24 inches x 50 inches; white cotton/polyester hand towels measuring 16 inches x 27 inches; white cotton/polyester washcloths measuring 12 inches x 12 inches; an electroshock weapon; a human head severed at #C-5; one human right hand severed at the radiocarpal joint; one human left hand severed at the radiocarpal joint, missing thumb;
and as I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that the person or property so described is now concealed on the person or premises above described and that grounds for application for issuance of the search warrant exist as stated in the supporting affidavit(s).
YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to search on or before September 18, 2022 (not to exceed 10 days) the person or property specified, serving this warrant and making the search in the daytime (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.). If the person or property be found there seize same, leaving a copy of this warrant and receipt for the person or property taken and prepare a written inventory of the person or property seized and promptly return this warrant to US Judge or Magistrate,
