Investigation Day 1 & 2 — On April 26 & 27, Detectives Armstrong and Murphy and other YCSD investigators canvassed the homes of people who live near the Allison farm in Taylor.

Investigation Day 2 — On Sunday evening after the incident at the Allison farm was reported, the Crime Scene Unit sent Detectives Armstrong and Murphy preliminary inventories of the evidence they collected at the vandalism scene and the bucket scene.
The evidence is currently being analyzed at the crime lab.

Investigation Day 2 — Following up on the name on the slip of paper in the wax ball, YCSD investigators identified a Laurie Daniels who used to live in Oxford.
This Ms. Daniels apparently no longer resides in Yoknapatawpha County, but her parents still live here.
Detectives Murphy and Armstrong talked to them about their daughter.

Investigation Day 2 — The YCSD contacted neighboring jurisdictions to find out if any human body parts had been found in recent weeks.
Pontotoc County to the east responded with a possibly relevant discovery.
