INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM

TO: Detective T. Armstrong, Detective S. Murphy
YCSD Homicide Squad
FROM: Sergeant Hamilton Grant
YCSD Patrol Shift Supervisor
DATE: January 26, 2018
RE: Routine checks of 269 McElroy Drive

Per your request dated January 23, 2018, patrol officers have been conducting regular drive-by checks of the residence located at 269 McElroy Drive on all three shifts.

In summary, the subject appears to still be occupying the residence.

On January 24 at approximately 10:49 a.m., Unit 225 observed the subject depart the residence and travel to 345 County Road 101. As the subject was not under surveillance, it is unknown how long he stayed at that location or whether he traveled to any other locations. Unit 209 observed the subject at the residence at 4:02 p.m. that same day.

On subsequent days, the subject appeared to remain at the residence the majority of the time. On some occasions, the subject's vehicle was not at the residence and the subject's presence there could not be confirmed. Detailed patrol reports are on file.

Drive-by checks will continue until otherwise notified. Please advise when a termination date is identified.

So, the police are watching Kenneth, but the only place they can find him going is to Billee's Auto Service. They don't know if he's going anywhere else. Not sure what this gives us...

It gives us that he lies (he DOES work, not totally disabled) and the two are very interconnected, not just casual distant relatives. He isn't going to the grocery store, the library, church (it is Mississippi, after all!) he's going to Billie...

It gives us that he lies (he DOES work, not totally disabled) and the two are very interconnected, not just casual distant relatives. He isn't going to the grocery store, the library, church (it is Mississippi, after all!) he's going to Billie Lee, who in his first interview played dumb about Kenneth, Veronica, everyone, everything. Broken-hearted brother, broken-hearted husband. Both are just getting by and the law suit against the evil Veronica, with a big pay-day in sight, is taking too long. It's getting bogged down with everyone trying to cover their butts and mean while she is living the perfect happy life. She's got a great husband, beautiful daughter, and drinks her nights away. Where is the justice? The amount of time that has past has just proved what you believed all along. Rich people can drag you out, on and on, til you just give up. But you don't give up. The time has just built your frustration, no one is looking out for you, just themselves. Forget all the people who say they care (lawyer milking you dry for press and his cut) the two of you can take care of this yourselves. No one ever looks out for the little guy!
Haha! I think THAT is what this gives us! LOL!
(Oh, I'm on a tear tonight! Ha!)

Okay, fair enough. I just had been thinking we already got that info from Billy's interview, Kenneth's attitude, his attorney's attitude, the eye witness of some of Billy's workers, etc.. This helps solidify that. I guess I meant more along...

Okay, fair enough. I just had been thinking we already got that info from Billy's interview, Kenneth's attitude, his attorney's attitude, the eye witness of some of Billy's workers, etc.. This helps solidify that. I guess I meant more along the lines that it's not incriminating. Kenneth's possibly committing welfare fraud, trying to get disability when he is able to work, but it's not murder. No solid evidence to convict either Kenneth or Billy for what happened to Veronica. We need shoe impression analysis...

Also, I NOW feel like we have potentially enough evidence to convict, as long as the lab results pan out.
