On Monday, October 8, 2018, the Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's Department visited the Campus Walk apartment complex at 410 Hathorn Road, where they canvassed the residents looking for anyone who saw or heard anything on the night Kristi Waterson died, Saturday, October 6, 2018.
The interviews summarized are some of the most typical or relevant to the investigation and are representative of all interviews conducted.
Apt: Bldg. 110, Apt #D
Mr. Brady said when he took his dog out for a walk between 7:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on the night of October 6, 2018, he noticed a white male, tall and medium build in his early 20s, walking through the apartment complex parking lot headed in a generally southeasterly direction.
Brady said he noticed the man because he rarely sees pedestrians in the area as most Campus Walk residents drive wherever they need to go.
Brady said the man wore khaki pants, a blue long sleeve shirt, and a baseball cap, and had short, light brown hair but did not have a beard, mustache, or distinguishing facial features.
