Case Description: Severed Finger Investigation

The following items were taken into evidence from the crime scene at the Rebel Inn at 2133 S Lamar Blvd. Trace evidence is still being collected from the scene and will be reported upon completion.

Rebel Inn Room 120 has been sealed by the Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's Department until further notice. Rebel Inn management has been advised to notify the YCSD immediately if the registered guest returns or if anyone attempts to access or requests access to the room.

• 004053-01: One (1) left thumb, amputated below the proximal interphalangeal joint
• 004053-02: One (1) carpet section, 5' x 3' with apparent blood stains

Collected from outside south exit door

• 004053-03 through 004053-11: Nine (9) cigarette butts
• 004053-12 through 004053-13: Two (2) suspected marijuana cigarette butts
• 004053-14: One (1) unopened Coca-Cola can
• 004053-15 through 004053-16: Two (2) empty Coca-Cola cans
• 004053-17: One (1) empty Sprite soda can
• 004053-18 through 004053-20: Three (3) empty Miller Lite beer cans
• 004053-21 through 004053-22: Two (2) empty Budweiser beer cans
