Case Description: Rolf Warner death investigation

The Yoknapatawpha County Crime Scene Unit provided additional detail on the pickaxe recovered at the Rolf Warner crime scene.

Investigators believe the pickaxe is a likely candidate for the weapon used to inflict the fatal injuries. Forensic analyses of the pickaxe are ongoing.

    The pickaxe head is approximately 11 inches from end to end.

    The pointed end of the pickaxe is approximately 4 inches long. The blade tapers at a 25 degree angle out to the base.
