Affidavit(s) having been made before me by Detective Samantha Murphy
who has reason to believe that on the premises known as
126 County Road 432 which is a three-bedroom, one-story single-family residence leased to Paul Mercury and occupied by Paul Mercury and Forrest Burgess; a white 2012 Buick LaCrosse automobile (VIN XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX), registered to Forrest Burgess;
in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, there is now concealed a person or property, namely
a hacksaw with blade having 18 teeth per inch; books, magazine or other literature describing voodoo rituals and/or voodoo culture; a black, wheeled carry-on bag with extendable handle; identification including passport and/or driver's license bearing the name Laurie Daniels; handwritten letter addressed to "Reggie" and signed "Melanie";
and as I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that the person or property so described is now concealed on the person or premises above described and that grounds for application for issuance of the search warrant exist as stated in the supporting affidavit(s).
YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to search on or before March 14, 2020 (not to exceed 10 days) the person or property specified, serving this warrant and making the search in the daytime (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.).
