One (1) fired copper-jacketed bullet, recovered under window, rear wall

003369-B02

One (1) fired copper-jacketed bullet, recovered under desk chair

003369-B03

One (1) fired copper-jacketed bullet, recovered at autopsy: Monica Drum

Findings

Examination of the above items shows these three expended bullets to be consistent with those used in a .38 Special caliber ammunition revolver, either .38 Special or 357 Magnum. All three projectiles are consistent with being fired from the same weapon.

The weapon is most likely to match one of the following manufacturers: Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Llama, Taurus

Evidence Item Description

003369-B04

One (1) Smith & Wesson .45 caliber pistol registered to Melvin Roberts and recovered from Don Margolis, attorney for Roberts

Findings

Test fires of firearm 003369-B04 resulted in exhibits 003369-B04-01 through 003369-B04-10. These fired copper-jacketed bullet exhibits were compared with Items 003369-B01, 003369-B02, and 003369-B03.

No individual identifying characteristics were found in pattern matching. Calibers were inconsistent.

Conclusion: The firearm 003369-B04 was not the weapon that fired evidence items: 003369-B01 through 003369-B03.
