Hello, Officer

Local farmer John Reagle brought something to the bar to show his drinking buddies. He told them it was his ex-girlfriend's severed hand.

The other patrons and the staff didn't know whether to believe him, but nobody has seen Reagle's ex in a while, so someone called 911 just in case.

Is this alleged severed hand the result of a tragic accident, a fatal encounter, or an elaborate hoax?

Examine the evidence, and share your thoughts in the comments.

Coming up … are there any missing persons in Yoknapatawpha County who might be short one hand?
