Claim No.:  8298810-WH
Decedent: Wenzel Hitzig - 11/04/02
Policy No.:  42-55825-WHA3
Our File: 5215

Dear Detective Armstrong,

Following our conversation this morning, I can confirm that Wenzel Hitzig took out a life insurance policy on April 25, 2002 through the offices of Atlanta Assurance Associates of 632 Northridge Road, Atlanta GA. It was a standard whole life policy for $500,000 dollars payable in the event of death, for which monthly premiums have been received since April 30 and on each subsequent month. There was extra protection in case of terminal illness which would pay $200,000.

The beneficiary of the policy in the event of Mr Hitzig's death was listed as Arlene Melton, of 110 Hickory Street, Oxford, MS. As I understand the matter is now being dealt with as a homicide, AAA said they will not pay out until any inquiry has established the facts of his death and the investigation is complete. To date, no claim has been submitted on behalf of Arlene Melton in respect of the policy.

Please keep me informed of any developments in this matter.

Very truly yours,

Bin Lee Choi
