Case: 003502 |
Case Description: Philip Fontaine Homicide |

|
Investigative Agency: Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's Department |
Investigating Officer(s): Det. S. Murphy. Det. T. Armstrong |

Shoe print evidence collected from the crime scene was compared with latent footwear impressions from shoes collected during execution of search warrants at the residences of Joey Beecher, Bruno Coleman, and Benito Flores.
A comparative examination resulted in an associative match. This match was determined due to visible temporary accidental characteristics seen in both the bloody shoe print and a shoe belonging to Benito Flores. Other screening features include identical channeling patterns unique to the class characteristics of the sole pattern. These positive associative characteristics are seen in both the bloody shoe print and the Flores shoe.
