Case Description: Cameron & Caitlin Maxwell Homicide Investigation
On January 7, 2014, the detectives requested YCSD call/dispatch records for all dark vehicle reports, two-door vehicle reports, and suspicious vehicle reports for the time period 1/2/14 through 1/5/14. They were looking for any reports potentially involving a dark-colored hatchback consistent with Kristi Dawes' description of a vehicle she saw near the Eastgate Shopping Center. Only one report was found matching those criteria.

| Complaint: | Complainant reported a vehicle driving erratically on Molly Barr Road near N. Lamar Blvd. Complainant described the vehicle as a Honda hatchback, dark in color, with the rear hatchback open and a large bulky locad covered with blankets spilling out of the back of the vehicle. Complainant indicated the blankets were covering the license plate and he was unable to see the license number. Complainant said he was driving behind the vehicle, traveling east on Molly Barr Road. Complainant said he stopped for gas and the vehicle continued east on Molly Barr Road. |
| Disposition: | Dispatch alerted patrol units. Deputies responded to the location and patrolled the area, but did not find the vehicle. No further sightings of the vehicle were reported. |
