Apart from the fact that polygraphy isn't that reliable for a number of reasons, I'm getting the impression you don't quite understand what this site is about. It is our main purpose to observe, detect and point out lies, contradictions, motives, facts and to declare and discuss our suspicions, arguments or theories to other members and of course the detectives working on the case. The detectives on the other hand keep us informed about any new developments, until we are invited to participate in the Who Dunnit Contest.

Just curious: What good would a lie detector test actually do in a house search?

And it looks like we found the cell phone. Hopefully they can compare usage or something to confirm this was the phone from which the harassing texts were sent to Veronica. Presuming it is, it doesn't prove Dwight killed Veronica, but it certainly makes him more suspicious than he already was.
