Findings

Test fires of firearm 000333-27 using Remington UMC Ammunition 38 Special +P 125-grain brass-jacketed hollow point ammunition resulted in exhibits 000333-B02 through 000333-B05. These exhibits were compared with Item 000333-B01.

Examination using comparison microscopy identified item 000333-B01 as having been fired from item 000333-27.

Conclusion: The firearm 000333-27 was the weapon that fired evidence item 000333-B01.
