90-Day Classroom Subscription

Thank you for purchasing the 90-day Crime Scene classroom subscription, Guest.

Student Access

To view case solutions, your students will need a detective-level Crime Scene account. Your subscription includes 35 detective-level student accounts in addition to your teacher account.

Please note – Once your students have access via your classroom subscription, they will be able to view all case solutions.

If you're not ready for them to see the answer yet, you may wish to delay giving them access.

How to Give Your Students Access

Create their own account (recommended)

Students can use the coupon code that was emailed to you to set up detective-level Crime Scene accounts.

Note – Please make a record of your code. It will expire in under 90 days and can only be used 35 times.

To claim the accounts, your students simply do the following:

  1. Visit this URL to set up the account:  https://www.crimescene.com/student60
    • Important: To get detective-level access to crimescene.com, students must use the link above to create their accounts.
  2. Enter your coupon code in the Discount Code field.
    • Note: The price will display as $5 until the coupon code is applied.
  3. Enter their Name, Username, Email Address1, and Password2
  4. Click the "Register and Check Out" button.

1 Your students are automatically opted out of our weekly email newsletter that provides updates on the current case. They can sign up to receive the newsletter at any time if they wish to.

2 To protect user security, each student must create their own account. Student user accounts cannot be added in bulk.

Share your login (not ideal)

If you prefer, you can share your user id and password with your students.

If you're concerned about your login information being shared with future students, you can reset your password at the end of every semester/quarter.

How to Access Closed Cases

Our 10 most recent investigations are available via the Previous Cases menu at the top of every page.

Cases older than that can be found on the Case Archives page.
