  • Angela Moran

Detective Murphy: Ms. Moran, may we come in? We need to ask you a few questions about Tara Copeland.

Angela Moran: Of course. Come on in.

Detective Murphy: Before we get started, we need your name and address for our records.

Angela Moran: Angela Moran, and I live at 233 Elm Street, Oxford.

Detective Murphy: Did you know Annette Wyatt?

Angela Moran: No. So that's what this is about? Tara has mentioned Annette Wyatt before, and I read about her murder in the news, but I didn't know her.

Detective Murphy: What did Ms. Copeland tell you about Annette Wyatt?

Angela Moran: She said her boss has tried to convince Annette to come work with her for a number of years, but she was loyal to the Harte Agency.

Detective Parker: Did you see Ms. Copeland on Saturday?

Angela Moran: Yes, she had a hair appointment that evening, so she brought Alexa over at 6:00 p.m. She picked her up around 8:15 p.m., and we chatted for about an hour. Then she took Alexa home to put her to bed.

Detective Murphy: Do you know if Ms. Copeland stayed home the rest of the night?

Angela Moran: I think so. She would've called me to come over if she had to go out again.

Detective Murphy: And what about Sunday morning? Do you know if she was home then?

Angela Moran: I didn't notice. Sorry.

Detective Parker: Thank you for your time, Ms. Moran.

Peggy Stinson

Peggy Stinson is Tara Copeland's hairstylist.

Participants:

•  Detective S. Murphy
•  Detective E. Parker
•  Peggy Stinson

Detective Parker: Good afternoon, Ms. Stinson. We need a few minutes of your time to ask you a few questions.

Peggy Stinson: Sure, what do you want to know?

Detective Parker: First off, we need your name and address for our records.

Peggy Stinson: My name's Peggy Stinson, and I live at 41 Rubin Drive.

Detective Parker: How well do you know Tara Copeland?

Peggy Stinson: I've been her stylist for several years. She likes changing her hair color.

Detective Parker: Did Ms. Copeland discuss the Annette Wyatt murder case with you?

Peggy Stinson: No, I haven't seen her since then. That was awful, her being murdered and all. Have you found her killer yet?

Detective Murphy: No, but we will. So when was the last time you saw Ms. Copeland?

Peggy Stinson: She came in on Saturday. That's when she got her hair colored. Her appointment was at 6:30 p.m.

Detective Murphy: What time did she leave?

Peggy Stinson: She left around 8:00 p.m. She had to pick up her daughter at the babysitter's.

Detective Murphy: Thank you for talking with us. We'll let you get back to work now.
