  Search Warrant: Residence of Peggy LeClaire

SEARCH WARRANT

Oxford, MS 38655

Case Number: 003933-15J-2000

To Detective Ted Armstrong and Detective Sam Murphy of the Yoknapatawpha (MS) County Sheriff's Department and any Authorized Officer of Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi.

Affidavit(s) having been made before me by Detective Ted Armstrong and Detective Sam Murphy

who has reason to believe that on the premises known as

224 North 18th Street, Oxford, MS which is a free-standing, two-story home with attached garage, shown by public record as owned by Peggy M. LeClaire

in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, there is now concealed a person or property, namely

A .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun; .25 caliber Winchester full metal jacket ammunition; an antique gold Rolex watch; a ruby, diamond, and gold cocktail ring; documents, computer files, audio cassette tapes or other materials related to work produced for Zoe Chase; documents, computer files or other materials related to work produced for Mallory Benson; documents, computer files or other materials related to the work known as "Desperate Stranger"; clothing or other items with apparent bloodstains; key(s) fitting the locks and/or ignition of the vehicle registered to Zoe Chase; key(s) fitting any lock or locks at the residence of Zoe Chase; credit card(s) and/or ATM/check card(s) issued to Zoe Chase;

and as I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that the person or property so described is now concealed on the person or premises above described and that grounds for application for issuance of the search warrant exist as stated in the supporting affidavit(s).

YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to search on or before December 24, 2000 (not to exceed 10 days) the person or property specified, serving this warrant and making the search in the daytime (7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.). If the person or property be found there seize same, leaving a copy of this warrant and receipt for the person or property taken and prepare a written inventory of the person or property seized and promptly return this warrant to US Judge or Magistrate,
