An Undernet chat server was the scene of Greg Giblini's brush with capture. Giblini eluded authorities during a prearranged surrender on an Internet chat channel. During the session, Giblini was located and a chase ensued, taking authorities on a high speed car chase through the streets of San Francisco. After traveling at speeds of 100 mph, Giblini lost control of his vehicle and escaped.
