The Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's Department has arrested Raymond Jennings and charged him with the murder of Victor Jennings, his brother.

Raymond Jennings was taken into custody without incident and made a full confession, claiming the death was unintentional.

Victor Jennings, 48, was found dead in his home of a stab wound to the chest. Jennings was under house arrest at the time, awaiting trial to face extortion charges. Lee Merryweather, Jennings personal assistant made the chilling discovery.

According to detectives, early in the investigation investigators suspected Merryweather was involved in the murder. However, DNA evidence and witness statements lead detectives to Raymond Jennings.

Raymond Jennings is being held without bond pending arraignment. If convicted of capital murder, he could face the death penalty.
