Detective T. Armstrong
Detective S. Murphy
Troy Daniels
Detective Murphy: Troy, thank you for coming in to talk with us today. We understand you are a busy person. Could you please state your name and address for the record?
Troy Daniels: Sure, I am Troy Marie Daniels, and I live at 805 College Hill Road, Apt # 13 with my mother.
Detective Murphy: Thank you Troy. I’m sure you have some idea why we are talking to you?
Troy Daniels: I’m assuming it has something to do with Victor's death?
Detective Murphy: Yes it does. Could you tell us where you were the night of Mr. Jenning's death?
Troy Daniels: I was at the College Library. I had to study for a math test.
Detective Armstrong: Were you studying with anyone?
Troy Daniels: I was studying with a friend of mine, Terri Smith. We have math and an English class together, so sometimes we will study together.
Detective Armstrong: About what time were you studying?
Troy Daniels: Oh we started around seven and I was there until ten, Terri left an hour or so before I did.
Detective Murphy: Did Terri say where she was going?
Troy Daniels: I think she said she had to meet a friend or something like that. I can't remember for sure.
Detective Murphy: Troy, could you tell us your relationship with your father?
Troy Daniels: You mean Victor? He’s only my sperm donor. He's never been a father to me. My mother has been my father and mother.
Detective Armstrong: Then your relationship with Victor wasn’t a good one?
Troy Daniels: I didn't even know he was my father until just recently. My mother was very upset.
Detective Murphy: About what?
Troy Daniels: She met with Victor about a week before he died, asking for money. He refused.
Detective Murphy: Did your Mom say anything about their conversation?
Troy Daniels: She just said that he refused to give her any money for me, and didn’t want anything to do with me. He seemed like a pretty cold person.
Detective Armstrong: Why did your mother think he would give you money now, after all this time?
Troy Daniels: I don't know. I guess she was just desperate. I've got an opportunity to tour Europe, and we just can't afford it.
Detective Armstrong: Was your mother perhaps thinking of blackmailing Victor, a person accused of doing just that.
Troy Daniels: My mother would never do such a thing.
Detective Murphy: Thank you Troy. We appreciate you coming in to talk to us today.
Troy Daniels: That’s it? Nothing else? No DNA or anything?
Detective Armstrong: You’ve been watching to many CSI shows Troy. We don’t need any of that from you. Thank you again for your time.
Troy Daniels: Ok.
