Case Description: Time capsule evidence discovery

The following inventory of items were contained in the time capsule taken into evidence on July 26, 2008 from the 25th reunion of the Yoknapatawpha County High School Class of 1983.


  • 004131-001: One (1) X-ACTO No. 1 Precision knife
  • 004131-002: One (1) gold and gemstone brooch, shape of a treble clef
  • 004131-003: One (1) cylindrical metal time capsule - 36" long x 18" diameter
  • 004131-004: One (1) framed photograph of an adult male, identified as David Morgan
  • 004131-005: One (1) book titled Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story, with hole cut in pages
  • 004131-006: One (1) flyer, 1983 Senior Class Trip
  • 004131-007: One (1) Oxford Eagle article dated April 21, 1983
  • 004131-008: One (1) Confederate flag,
  • 004131-009: One (1) 1983 Yoknapatawpha County High School yearbook
