By making and running a gel with BlueVis™, the DNA in the gel can be visualized as the gel runs. This eliminates the need for both hazardous stains and UV equipment and long stain/de-stain procedures. And, since students can see the DNA in the gel, it makes a great teaching opportunity on DNA migration! Photodocumentation Ready! In addition to the BlueVis™ dye, the DNA Typing kit also includes InstaStain® Methylene Blue sheets from Edvotek®, to yield high quality results excellent for photodocumentation.
