After coming in contact with the invisibly coated surface the thief's hands will turn a brown/black color. Staining can last up to 2-3 days

Theft Detection Liquid is designed for use on non-porous surfaces and is most effective on transient items, such as coins or door knobs that many people come into contact with, as it will rub off after the first initial contact, coating the skin and leaving a stain.

Theft Detection Paste can be used when a crime or intrusion is suspected. Virtually imperceptible to the eye and no distinct odors or textures. Theft Detection Paste is easily transferable from a surface application to the suspect when contact is made. Ultraviolet light can then be used on suspected individuals to reveal whether they had recently come in contact with the surface to which the theft detection product has been applied. Staining lasts up to 48 hours.

Theft Detection Paste is invisible on nearly all surfaces. Designed to adhere to non-porous surfaces, it can be easily applied with a small brush.

Visible Theft Detection Powder

Visible Theft Detection Powder is applied to a surface such as a doorknob or a valuable object. It is applied lightly with a brush. When your thief touches the object, the powder reacts with the natural moisture on the hand, causing it to turn a brilliant purple. This difficult to remove stain easily identifies your thief.�

Invisible Fluorescent Thief Detection Powder is applied to a surface such as a doorknob or a valuable object. It is applied lightly with a brush. When your thief touches the object, the powder transfers to the skin and remains invisible until inspected under UV light. The Fluorescent Thief Detection Powder will glow brightly under UV light and will easily identify your thief. This product must be used with a UV light. Available here.

Theft paste is applied to doorknobs, tools, boxes, etc. When the thief touches the item, the paste will be transferred to the hands or clothing. The paste is designed to react with moisture and heat. It will stain the thief�s hands, staining everything touched. Pastes are particularly useful when the object is exposed to weather.
