The portable PrintCup� Kit makes it easier to obtain prints from deformed, arthritic, postmortem or broken fingers. The PrintCup� makes coating and printing impaired fingers simple. Allowing you to better control the application of ink to the fingers, a user simply inserts the finger into the cup. The cup is then rolled around the finger, completely inking it. The PrintCup� utilizes our Perfect Print� ink, so clean-up can be accomplished by simply wiping the fingers with a cloth. Never rub your forehead again! Originally created for use in our own research and development laboratory, our latent print reference pads create perfect, consistent test latent fingerprints again and again. Before using any latent fingerprint development chemical, a test print should be produced so that the validity and strength of the chemicals can be determined before being used on actual evidence. If you happen to smudge a print during fingerprinting, Retabs are the solution. Retabs are small adhesive covers used to correct a smudged or incorrectly rolled fingerprint. Simply tear a Retabs from the roll with the backing intact, roll the fingerprint on the Retabs sticker until you receive an acceptable print, remove the Retabs from it's protective backing and place the Retabs sticker on the fingerprint card. The stickers are on a continuous roll of 500 per box.

The FBI requires that no more than two Retabs labels be on a single card. More than two labels and the card may be rejected. Check with the agency you are submitting your cards to before fingerprinting to see if they will accept cards with Retabs stickers attached to them or not, and if so, if they have a maximum number of stickers per card.

Disposable Inking Foils are two pieces of plastic film coated with a thin layer of fingerprint ink. Designed for single-use, the user simply peels the two halves of film apart and rolls the fingers on the two exposed surfaces. A fine, thin layer of jet-black fingerprint ink is transferred to the fingers. The fingers are then rolled on a standard fingerprint card, producing clean, sharp prints. Using the convenient TreadPrint� applicator, Identicator�s PerfectPrint� ink is applied to the surface of a mounted tire using a dabbing motion. The tire is then rolled over pre-cut cardboard panels. The special ink won�t dry on the tire, but dries immediately once contacting the paper, leaving a dark, black impression that won�t fade. No further development or protection against smudging is required. The cardboard panels are packaged to provide sufficient recording area for the full rotation of four passenger tires up to size 205/R15. When using �Live Scan� fingerprinting units, the resulting fingerprints are not always perfect. This can often be caused by individuals with worn ridge detail, or as a result of the skin not making good contact with the scanner glass. These problems can be eliminated by using PreScan Fingerprint Enhancers. PreScan pads feature a special ridge enhancing formula that accentuates the fingerprint detail of those with worn or light ridge detail. In addition, the special ceramic pad applies the perfect amount of solution to the skin to make the best contact between the finger and the scanner, every time. Available in two sizes, the smaller PS-5 pad will coat up to 500 fingers, while the larger PS-30 can be used for up to 16,000 individual impressions.

This is the standard booking fingerprint card, form number FD-249, used by law enforcement agents to book individuals at the time of arrest.

We also carry High-Contrast Applicant Fingerprint Cards. Designed to provide greater clarity when used with the Digit 10 � and IdentaPrint � inkless systems, these fingerprint cards are printed on a special high-contrast paper and are available in packs of 250.

Touch Signature� pads are a convenient method of assuring a customer�s identity, particularly for the purpose of check cashing and new account opening. Through the use of Touch Signature� you can dramatically reduce bad check losses. The inking surface of Touch Signature� Pads is a hard, porous surface that won�t dry out during the life of the pad and facilitates even ink transfer. Fingerprints are consistently clear on any paper stock and dry instantly, preventing smearing. In addition, the ink utilizes non-toxic pharmaceutical grade chemicals. Available in two different models, the larger rectangular pad (part #TS-2000) features a larger usable surface area than any pad in its class. Its rectangular surface provides ample space for flat and rolled prints. The lid opens completely away from the base for easy access and can be removed for theft deterrence. Each pad produces 1000 prints per pad and measures 1.75" x 2.25". A small, round compact pad is also available. Popular with banks and pawn shops, this pad is ideal for placing thumb prints on the back of checks or other documents. Measuring 1.5" in diameter, it will produce up to 500 prints per pad. Both pads feature foam adhesive on the base, for adhering to a counter top.

Ridge Builder is used to add definition and clarity to the fingerprint ridges, permitting you to obtain readable prints from the elderly, subjects with poor ridge structure, or subjects who work with their hands, such as brick layers or farm workers.

Our Ridge Builder is supplied in a convenient pump spray bottle. Simply spray the subject's fingertips with our fast drying, antiseptic ridge builder, then follow your normal fingerprinting procedures.

Inkless Fingerprint Pads and Labels

The I.D. Print � system is a unique method of producing permanent, high-contrast black fingerprints without the mess of inks. Ideal for use at banks, retail establishments and in child identification programs, individuals simply press a finger onto an I.D. Print � pad and then onto a special chemically treated card or label. Prints appear immediately, but leave no discoloration or residue on the fingers. The resultant prints dry instantly. The pads feature a unique ceramic insert, which prevents the inkless solution from evaporating over time and it assures that the inkless solution only coats the ridges of the fingers, producing perfect prints every time.

You must use a special chemically treated paper in order to use these inkless pads. �Our ID Print Thumbprint labels are made to work these pads. Choose them via the pulldown menu.
