Semen Screen-Lab

A semen screen is conducted by a lab technician  to determine the presence or absence of semen on the sample you submit.
A positive result will be obtained if semen is present, even if the male has had a vasectomy.
The ability to obtain results may depend on the age and condition of the sample, as well as the amount of material that is actually present. Conducting this test is useful to determine the need to proceed with a DNA profile of the stain.
