Analysis of Drugs and Poisons Lab Activity

This kit enables students to identify some common over-the-counter drugs, as well as learn how to test for controlled substances using simulated drugs. They will also analyze various metals and the amino acids found in simulated body fluids to detect heavy metal poisoning. It includes materials for seven setups and an activity guide. The required ultraviolet light source is available separately.
