- Case Description: Unidentified remains possible homicide
The following is an inventory of items taken into evidence from the construction zone where unidentified human remains were found July 8. The inventory was provided by the Yoknapatawpha County Crime Scene Unit.
- 000152-01: Fragments of pair of blue denim jeans with sporadic stains brown in color.
- 000152-02: Fragments of black T-shirt with lime green lettering. Legible words are "terror" "can" and "fill".
- 000152-03: One pair of Nike tennis shoes, size 10.
- 000152-04: Partially intact boxer briefs, unbranded.
- 000152-05: Men's Timex watch. Stainless steel. Shows correct time and date.
- 000152-06: Men's large size lightweight Nike sports nylon & polyester jacket. Blue and white.
Coat Contents:
- 000152-06-01: In jacket's zipped sleeve: Torn scrap of white paper with USUAL SUSPECTS 7.30 written by hand in black ink
- 000152-06-02: In jacket's zipped sleeve: Torn scrap of notebook paper with numbers 087364933 written by hand in blue ink. The scrap of paper is torn immediately after the last 3.
- 000152-07: Duct tape, 2"X10" (bound around carpal bones of skeletal remains) wide, gray, composed of vinyl, partially deteriorated
- 000152-08: Aluminum baseball bat. The bat has brown stains and has a scuffed and scratched picture of a red cartoon bird with a yellow beak.
- 000152-09: White, solid braid nylon rope (3/8" wide, 6'3" long) with knots at each end around carpal bones. The rope was also found loosely encircling around the torso.
