TA= Detective T. Armstrong
SM= Detective S. Murphy
HM= Helen Masters
SM: Thank you for coming down again Miss Masters. Would you please state your name and address for the record please?
HM: Helen Masters, 913 South 13th Street. What is this all about? I told you everything I know last time.
TA: Are you sure?
HM: Yes, I have nothing to hide Detective.
TA: Like I said. Are you sure?
HM: Are you going to keep badgering me, or are you going to tell me what is going on?
SM: We just wanted to give you the opportunity to clarify some interesting things weve discovered since our last chat. Say for instance the fact that you knew exactly who Amy Bledsoe was.
HM: Well, I told you might have seen her around. I didnt say I didnt know her.
SM: You apparently knew her well enough to call her cell phone a number of times.
HM: Oh . . . well, her number was similar to a friend of mines. I guess I never connected an Amy, with Amy Bledsoe. So I called her by accident a couple times. No big deal.
TA: You called more than a couple times, and you also hired a Private Investigator to follow her around.
HM: What? How did you know . . . that fatso told me he would keep it confidential!
TA: The PI didnt tell us your name Miss Masters. We just used some good old-fashioned police work to discover who hired him. Do you want to tell us why?
HM: All right, I did hire the private investigator to follow her around, and I did call her a couple
times. Only because she stole Carl away from me. Carl and I had the perfect relationship until that little tramp came along. She was a nobody, not even good enough to clean my shoes.
SM: So, you think she stole Carl from you. Why follow her around?
HM: I know she stole him away from me! She used some kind of trick to fool Carl into thinking he loved her and not me. I wanted to know what that trick was, so I hired a private iInvestigator to follow her around. I mean obviously it couldnt have been her looks, or her family. Why would Carl throw away caviar for oatmeal?
TA: I dont know about his personal eating habits, but I do know if someone doesnt want to see you it means they dont want to see you. Did you kill Amy Bledsoe?
HM: Oh, no I didnt want her dead. I just wanted her followed. Do you think the private investigator might have killed her? Oh, no I didnt hire him to do that. I honestly just wanted to know what tricks she was using to get Carl. I love him so much. You dont understand, Carl treated me better than any man ever has. I just wanted him back.
SM: Well, now with Amy out of the way I guess you can . . . if he wants you that is.
HM: Why wouldnt he want me? I mean, she is gone . . . he needs someone to comfort him . . . to be there for him . . . to love him.
TA: So, Amy being murdered was a good thing for you?
HM: Well, not to sound to crude about it, but yes. I didnt kill her though. It just worked out good for me.
TA: Where were you on the night Amy Bledsoe was murdered?
HM: I was out.
TA: Out where?
HM: I dont remember . . . just out.
SM: Miss Masters, now is not the time to lie to us.
HM: Ok, I was out . . . watching Carls house.
SM: Watching it from where?
HM: I rented a vehicle from Budget, and sat down the street from his house. You dont understand, Im not a stalker, I just love him so much. I just have to be near him.
SM: Was anyone with you?
HM: No, I was alone.
TA: What time did you arrive on his street and what time did you leave?
HM: I think I got there about seven, and left about eleven.
TA: Is there anyone that can verify that? What time did you get the rental car?
HM: I picked it up around noon.
TA: What time did you drop it off?
HM: The next morning around ten.
SM: Do you remember what kind of car it was?
HM: I dont know, it was maroon, and had four doors.
TA: Did you kill Amy Bledsoe?
HM: No! I tell you I didnt. I am tired of this, if you want to ask me any more questions, you can call my attorney!
