Analysis: Fingerprint Analysis
                                 REPORT OF LATENT PRINT ANALYSIS
Case Description: Amy Bledsoe Homicide
Case #:   000492-31B-2005
Investigative Agency: Yoknapatawpha County Sheriff's Department
Investigating Officer(s): Det. S. Murphy. Det. T. Armstrong
The following evidence item was tested for latent fingerprints:

000492-01: One (1) clear tarp, 6' by 8'

Evidence item 000492-01 was removed from the victim and analyzed for trace evidence and fingerprint analysis.  The tarp was found to contain reddish brown stains presumed to be the blood of the victim.  Stains were observed microscopically for the presence of fingerprints.  No visual prints were observed.  Various samples of the reddish-brown stains were also taken.  The tarp was then viewed using an alternative light source.  Several smudged prints were visible, but three intact partial latent prints were recovered on two edges of the tarp.  These prints were photographed and documented for future comparisons.  The prints did not match those of the victim.

R/O Winston further stated that, to the best of his knowledge, the following personnel had occasion to enter the crime scene area and must be excluded by CSU personnel: witness Fred Anderson, EMT Peterson, EMT Bilkey, Det Murphy, Det Armstrong, Coroner’s Inspector L. Johnson, and himself.
