There's
a college professor named Charles Lowry who is a
Civil War teacher here. He took some interest in
our discovery. First he called Rachel and Hunter's
dad, who also teaches at the university. He got
pretty angry with Dr. McGowan because we had been
messing around his work site.
We
tried to find out why he was so interested in the
bone, but he kicked us out of his office. We found
a janitor who had been cleaning out the professor's
garbage, and he told us a good story about bones
that were discarded by medical students years ago
that might still be in a gulley on the edge of
campus. We also got some good clues from the
garbage can.
