I'm sorry to say that Detective Armstrong was right when he thought something was about to happen. Yesterday, we were called out to a scene at the home of an Ole Miss professor who was found dead at the bottom of her basement stairs.
Kimberly Pace was supposed to be going to brunch with her sister and some friends. Instead, they found her body when they came to pick her up.
When the Coroner's Inspector arrived and we were able to look under the body, we found a wound on the back of Dr. Pace's head.
To get you up to speed on what we know so far, we've got the Incident Report, some crime scene photos, summaries of what we learned from the neighbors and more. The transcripts of the interviews we conducted with the witnesses who found the body will be available on Thursday.
