Several people have talked to us about Monica Drum's boyfriend or ex-boyfriend, Rick Hughes. Their relationship status at the time she died isn't clear, but it seems they had a significant run-in the afternoon before she was murdered.

We're looking for Mr. Hughes so we can ask him about it, but he seems to be avoiding us.

In the meantime, we've been gathering information about the victim and the crime scene.
