Last night, a neighbor called 911 to say she'd found Whitehall Homeowners Association president Ambrose Garrett in the community center, and she thought he was dead. She was right.
Earlier in the evening the HOA had held its monthly meeting at the community center, and it appears that Garrett stayed behind after the meeting was over. Right now, we don't know why he did that.
Cause of death wasn't obvious at the scene, but the coroner's office is going to get to work on that first thing Monday morning.
In the meantime, check out the incident report we filed early this morning.

New case documents will be published every weekday throughout this investigation.
We'll send you these email newsletters every Monday to help you catch up on what's happened in the last week and give you a preview of what's coming up.
Coming up this week, we'll have transcripts of the interviews we conducted Sunday night at the scene and when we notified the next of kin. We'll also canvass for witnesses around Whitehall Community Center, and find out what evidence CSU collected at the scene.
Detective Armstrong and I are hoping you'll help us figure out what happened to Ambrose Garrett. Can we count on your input, Visitor?
