On Friday night, May 11, 2012, George O'Connor and his stepdaughter Haley Smith found their wife and mother dead in her bed.
On the surface, the scene looked like suicide, but closer examination told Detective Armstrong and me that something wasn't right. Veronica Smith's husband and sister reinforced that suspicion when we talked to them.
In this update, we turn our attention to the people who worked with Dr. Smith, starting with one of her business partners, Dr. Hilton Burns.
