I agree that the small spots were probably rhinestones and the larger one blood. The only thing I can think of that might fit Buzz's description of making fire with lasers would be either the gleam off the knife blade shining before the blade struck flesh, or one of the laser pointers that are used in speeches. It would look like an alien weapon to Buzz. Haven't read the new stuff yet but I'll be back later.

I think the spots were definitely the rhinestones and the fire on the woman's hair was Buzz's way of id'ing Rose, who has red hair.

The fire in the bowl thing... that's interesting. I wonder if that was whoever committed the murder in a bathroom in front of a mirror, burning the costume. Not sure about the laser part, but maybe a lighter might look like a laser to Buzz?

The other wound has been bothering me, too (the small one, with a blunt edge). Not sure about that one yet.

How about what was found at the two residences? The Boyd's with that small piece of paper and the envelope with potential bloodstains and the two strands of brown hair. What's that all about? And the two jumpsuits found at the Synder's - both didn't appear to have stains, but one was in the laundry room. They need to luminol that one and see if any blood comes up!

I'm still not sure about the bowl being on fire but the woman who's head was on fire had to be Rose Pearson because she has bright reddish orange hair that might look like fire to Buzz. I think we already established she was the clone that turned into a woman in our discussions. The other one we know is male.Rose said something about him was odd but she couldn't remember. She also said that to be an Elvis artist, you can't have facial hair. There is only one suspect that is clean shaven and the thing that might be odd about it could be he wears glasses. Elvis Artists usually wear his trademark dark sunglasses or they don't wear any at all. That suspect would be Quentin. He supposedly was seen by a couple of people wandering the halls muttering to himself about Jared and Elvis.

I have to consider the ones who had the most to lose if Jared went public with the letters and unfortunately, that is a close race.
The Synders had a lot of money riding on this conference. They needed to make money on it to continue setting up conferences. Devasating but not life threatening.
The Davis' had a lot of motive. There was Joy's death that Peter blamed Jared for. Sonya got pushed out of the keynote speaker's spot. That was less money, it was humiliating to her in her own hometown, and maybe that would affect her future chances of being a prominate speaker. If Jared went public with the letters he would get tons of press, millions of invitations to speak, money from publishing a book (sales) and numerous book tours. She would be left with only crumbs.
The Boyds' also had a lot of motive. Taylor felt like Jared's puppet running around everywhere looking for the letters when Jared knew exactly where they were. It was just an excuse to have an affair with Yvonne. Then Jared broke it off with her and with Taylor in the same day. Taylor finds out a few days later about the affair. Now he was furious and humiliated. Yvonne felt stupid for having an affair with Jared when he dumped her but then he also dumped Taylor. That cut them out of a lot of money that was to be made with the letters and the book.
Carl Warren wasn't worried very much about the letters. He felt it would only help him get the word out to more people about the Elvis Faithful. I really can't see a motive for him.
Kelly had a good thing going with Jared but I can't see a motive there either. There's always another professor out there for her to date.
With Rose's nervous breakdown when she heard about the letters, could be she did kill him and made it seem like she didn't.
Question: The forensics people removed 4 hairs from Jared's jacket. They didn't say what color they were. But now there are 2 brown hairs removed from the Boyd residence. Are we to assume the original hairs were black like Elvis's wig or were they brown like in the Boyd's search warrant?

Seems like I just can't get on here and post a little bit. Once I get started, it just rolls out like a carpet.lol

With all the information I saw today, I'm starting to wonder if we have a conspiracy here.

A: Brown wig found at the Davises
B: Envelope with stains on it with Conference center Address, brown hairs found at the Boyds
C: Jumpsuits found at the Snyders, one in the laundry room
D: Joy's ex-husband saying that he never heard of any Elvis Letters

We also heard that there were at least two men at the restaurant after Jared left who the waiter overheard talking about killing Jared. What if the rest of the people there sat down after he and Allison left and seriously thought about it? It would make sense and answer a lot of questions... for instance, why the potential evidence seems to be scattered amongst three couples--all of which were at the dinner at the restaurant. Why Yvonne picked up the knife, why Tyler was out and about, why the Davises alibis don't match up, and why the Synder's alibis don't either. It seems extremely unlikely that all 6 of them could keep all of this quiet, but there have definitely been slips. Was the evidence moved around to make sure that even if police did find something, that there wouldn't be enough to convict any one (or two) people? Or was it just panic?

Anyway, I think we have to seriously consider that there were multiple people involved... until we hear back on all of the evidence that was recovered and how it all fits together.

OK, ready or not, here is my theory, right or wrong.

I think it all started out as a bungled attempt to get the letters away from Jared, not to kill him intentionally. I don't think I can connect all the dots completely but I think that Alison, the Boyds, the Davis' and the Snyders had it planned out to just steal the letters and keep them hidden for a while if not forever.
Alison would get up when Jared left to go downstairs and search their rooms for the letters. He would have to have at least a copy of them at the Conference. Then Taylor was to go downstairs, got to the bathroom where he had a costume hid and put it on. Yvonne would come downstairs and she would find Jared knocked out in the hallway. With so many Elvis artists around, who could tell one from the other. Max was also supposed to be in costume already. He would be the Elvis that was running away with blood on his suit. Taylor or Max one was supposed to have a knife to brandish at Jared to make it look like a robbery. But as with all good plans that are not completely planned out, things started going wrong very quickly.
Jared was not knocked out and started defending himself, so in the heat of the moment and without thinking, they stabbed him and Jared died. Taylor took his suit off but not his wig hoping he would not be recognized and ran back up stairs. Max had blood on his suit because he checked to see if Jared was still alive and got blood on his hands, which he wiped on his suit. He ran to the bathroom and proceeded to wash his hands. He didn't know Buzz was hiding in the bathroom and that he had seen Rose and Taylor remove their "Elvis skin". Buzz saw the blood in the sink and Max's reflection in the mirror above the sink. He then left with the suit wadded up under his arm. He took the suit to Lyndsey and she washed it. Yvonne came along as scheduled but she didn't know about the knife. She thought Taylor stabbed Jared so she panicked and hid the knife.
Now, although it was not the plan to kill Jared, everybody was in a win-win situation. Alison didn't have to worry about Jared making all that money and leaving her for a younger woman. Before the letters came along, she held the purse strings. If Jared succeeded in his plan to reveal the letters, he would make a lot of money on his own and wouldn't need her anymore. The synders and the conference's reputations were no longer in jeopardy and and would be able to continue to promote more such conferences. Sonya would be put back in as a keynote speaker and wouldn't have to worry about her future as a speaker. Peter would get the letters back for Joy. Taylor would have the last laugh at Jared for ending their partnership and Yvonne would have her own revenge for dumping her the way he did and cutting them out of a lot of money on the letters and the book.
I may have the key players in the wrong position as to who did what, but I think they all conspired together and that Max was the one who actually stabbed Jared. But all in all, if this is the way it went down, they are all guilty.
Now what to you guys think?

Sorry Madison. It seems we were posting at the same time. It is really neat that we were thinking the same thing!
