Yes, him hanging around like that isn't what you would think a murderer to do. But why wouldn't Yvonne think that is was unusual to find someone in there that early, even Jared since they didn't open that early? Were there any other staff members there at that time?
Sounds like someone was confronting him about those letters, they got into an argument, possibly stabbing him in the chest, Jared flung his arm up for protection, got cut on the arm, turned to run and and fell, thus letting the killer jump on top of him and stab him in the back. There had to be a reason that the killer stayed around that long. Coroner said he was dead 2-4 hours. That's a long time to hang around if, indeed, this was the killer. Could have been someone else with the same idea but someone got to him first.
I definatly don't trust Yvonne.

Until we get some evidence that Jared's didn't happen that way, I'm sticking with that scenario, too.

From the interview with his wife, Allison, Jared was having an affair with yet another woman and she was at the convention, too.

For his wife to be there, along with two other women he's slept with, can't make for a happy time for Jared, unless he likes that sort of thing. ;)

It looks like he has a lot of people who would like to see him dead.

According to his wife, Jared had several "indiscretions" so why didn't she kick him to the curb since she has her own money? Why would she put up with that?
The impersonator who Yvonne saw lurking around: did he/she act like the clothes were too tight or too big? That could indicate size and could be a clue.
I also want to know about Sonya since she got "bumped" as speaker for Jared when they found out he was going to reveal the letters about Elvis.
I am a big fan of the FBI and I visit their website all the time. I have read as much of Elvis' file as they will make public. Very interesting reading. If you are interested, go to fbi.gov and go to the reading room. You can either pull up files by name or you can browse by clicking a letter of the alphabet. Everybody has heard the stories about Elvis being a secret agent but that's not true. He offered to become one but they turned him down. So it will be interesting to see if they give us any information about what is in "those letters".

If you enjoy the FBI, you should do their citizen's academy if you have a field office near where you live. Interesting stuff.

Maybe she stayed with him in hopes of having a windfall for the Elvis letters, or she really loved him underneath that all that complaining. I think if she didn't care, she would not be bothered about her husband's affairs. I could be totally wrong, though. These cases usually have a twist. :)

I want to hear from Kelly and if she really is at the convention.

I agree with you about Sonya. Would she take being bumped laying down or get even for it?

I want to mention one thing about Yvonne's statement about the impersonator. I think she just meant that the guy was very nervous or fidgety. If a person's clothing doesn't fit right, it will make them like that, but I don't think she meant the impersonator's clothing didn't fit. I don't know if I made this clear or not. Did I?

I've read a lot about Elvis. His talent was amazing. I am downloading the files from the fbi site, so I can read them later.
Thank you.

Edited by me: Madison, I didn't see your post until I had clicked mine. You were posting while I was typing. I don't live near a field office, but I do think that would be very interesting. Thank you, too.

@Madison: We used to have a field office close but now the closest one is in Dallas and that's 115 miles away. I really wish I could do the citizens academy. I was doing Criminal Justice classes in the hope that I could maybe work for them someday. Unfortunatly, I am of an "older" age (haha) and I ended up not finishing my degree because of not being able to do my basic. I started them twice and had to withdraw both times and they only allow 2. But my heart is still there and I do what I can to learn on my own.
@Scarlet: Yes you did make your self clear. I went back and reread the interview and I agree.
Seems like not too many people liked Jared. Could be a long list of suspects.
