GATLINBURG — The Gatlinburg Police Department is searching for two suspects who allegedly shot one victim in the leg during a home invasion robbery Saturday morning, according to a press release from the department.
The suspects, armed with semi-automatic pistols, broke into a house on Autumn Lane around 9 a.m. After stealing property thesuspects fled in the victim’s car, a 2003 maroon Oldsmobile sedan with a
Tennessee tag, number 824-WTT, according to the release.
The victim, who’s name has not been released, was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
Gatlinburg police ask that anyone with information call 436-5181
Liam Sanford attended the victim's church until his parents divorced. The detectives interviewed him about his family's relationship with Pastor Martinson.
