I arrived here in the US 1986, so I have been here a while. My daughter laughs herself silly, as I still have some sore of accent. Not German though, more like Norwegian. I culture the norwegian accent, as I love the language, when I was 14 I taught myself to read write adn do math in Norwegian, and I am very proud of the fact I am tri lingual.
My daughter told me a few weeks ago, that she was really impressed with me. She said I drove myself to the hospital with a broken ankle, and she thought that was very brace
I was a legal alien but am now a citizen. We moved here from Canada - the Toronto area. A small city call Bramelea. I miss it but am proud to be an American as well as my Canadian and Scotch (pure Scotch on my Mother's side) heritage.
