Let us know what movies you've seen and whether you liked or disliked them. Also, how about any good books you can refer?

I read The Harbinger. I liked it so much I read it twice.

Has anyone read, "The Prisoner in Cell 25." I've been hearing that it's a really good book, but I'd like to hear from someone who has actually read it before I decide to buy it.

I'd love to hear what someone else thinks about it.

I discovered that "The Prisoner in Cell 25" is more a book for teenagers. So, if you're a younger person, you would probably enjoy it. It's supposed to be very good.

The Oscars!!!!

Following films have been nominated for Best Picture:

Armour

Argo

Beasts of the Southern Wild

Django Unchained

Les Misérables

Life of Pi

Lincoln

Silver Linings Playbook

Zero Dark Thirty

Has any of you seen anyone of these extraordinary movies?

I've watched them all, except Lincoln, Argo and Zero Dark Thirty.. So far
they have all been a great experience and the ones I've been most impressed with so far, has been Les Misérables, Django and Life of Pi.
Beasts of the Southern Wild was least impressive, if not a bit disappointing to me. I had great expectations, yet I don't know what happened.

Please come in here and share with me your experiences with this years Oscar nominees!!!

(oh Scarlett, Snow White and the Huntsman is nominated too! I haven't wathched it yet though :( )

I have gotten to a point where I am really hard to please. I've seen so many movies that I didn't like. My daughter and I watch movies every Saturday night. Most of those are on DVD, so they're not the newest ones. We watch some on Amazon and some of those are new.

The last one I saw at the theater was, The Hobbit. I liked it.

Out of all those you listed, I have seen none. lol

I want to see Les Miserables. I've seen older versions, so I'm anxious to see this one. I like the actors in this version

I also want to see Life of Pi, Lincoln, and Zero Dark Thirty.

I don't think I'd care for Django, from what I've read and from the clips I've seen.

I loved, Hunger Games and I'm looking forward to the next one.

So, you see, I can't help much with the newer movies. lol
