Lisa Wood has returned to her Texas home. Her parents found her in Seattle, where she had worked as an actress in the Annex Theatre. Her most recent stage appearance was in an original work, "The History of Accidental Death".

In her letter, Mrs. Glen Wood stated that her daughter is undergoing counseling for an undisclosed problem. According to Mrs. Wood, "Lisa and I talked the whole way back to Texas, and from what I can tell, she never really even knew Valerie."
